Dogs NSW registered · Family-raised
Big hearts, bigger beards. Family-raised Airedale Terriers.
Health-tested puppies from champion bloodlines, raised in our home on the ACT/NSW border and matched with families who'll love them for life.
Our story
A small kennel with a big family behind it
Astoraires is a small, family-run, Dogs NSW registered Airedale Terrier breeder based in the ACT/NSW region.
Our puppies grow up in the middle of family life, with kids, cuddles, noise and all. That early start is why they head home friendly, adaptable and genuinely unflappable.
We keep things small on purpose, so every puppy gets real time, care and attention before it meets its new family.
The breed
Meet the King of the Terriers
The Airedale is the largest of all the terriers: clever, versatile and full of personality. Loyal to the bone and always up for an adventure.
Built to work
Bred as hunters and working dogs, today's Airedales put that drive into being loyal, protective family companions.
Seriously smart
Keen minds and lively spirits make them stars at obedience, agility and all kinds of canine sports.
All heart
Affectionate and devoted, they're a brilliant fit for active people and families alike.
Energy to burn
Airedales need to keep active, with at least an hour of exercise and play every day, a secure yard and plenty to keep their busy minds occupied.
Independent thinkers
Clever but strong-willed, they do best with early socialisation, puppy school and consistent, reward-based training from day one.
Coat care
Their wiry coat sheds very little but needs regular brushing and a professional groom or hand-strip every 8–10 weeks.
Why Astoraires
The best possible start, before they even leave home
Health-tested and warranted
Every puppy is DNA tested through Orivet for detectable genetic conditions, then vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Each one comes with a one-year health warranty against detectable genetic disease.
Champion bloodlines
Our lines trace back to champions from the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Ukraine. We pair them for temperament, sound health and loyal personalities.
